This is what happens when you leave the room to make a salad while your glass etches! Notice the drips under the monogram? Disguising a drip pattern under a monogram might be the crafter challenge of the month! Other than the obvious drip border, the monogram is beautiful on this oval casserole dish.
This casserole was special ordered for a sweet family at church that is moving to FL. Carey and Karol Lee are people with a genuine faith and servant hearts. We will certainly feel the void when they leave this week but God has plans for them in Vero Beach. Someone needs blessing there! "Served with Gladness" and "Friends & Sisters" will remind them of their time here in Columbus. Monogram and date are included under the handles.
I love what you wrote on the casserole dish! I would never have thought of served with gladness! Thans for the idea.
ReplyDeleteAs for the booboo? Why not deliberately make those marks all the way around it? Top and bottom..then nobody would know that it was a mistake? Just a thought

What a great gift idea.

Very nice idea! I didn't notice that those were drips at first, it could be the angle of the sish, but I think it looks fine. If not, you could do a 1/2 inch circle(or however long it is) all around the whole dish to cover it up maybe? great idea though!
