Our daughter Rachel loves organization...she's one of those people whose closet could pass for a House Beautiful magazine spread! For Christmas we made her this gift wrapping station to keep her supplies organized. Don built the board accented with crown molding using scraps leftover from a construction job and he even painted it for me. Sorry girls, he's taken. wink, wink.
Hobby Lobby had the R and B hooks on sale for less than $2 each. We painted 3 dowel rods and attached balls to the ends to hang the spools of curling ribbon (one dowel rod is missing in the picture). The wire baskets hold gift cards, pens, scissors, and tissue paper. She hung it in her downstairs closet over a small bookshelf that she uses as a table to wrap.
If you don't have leftover lumber scraps, check your home building store for pegboard. It can be painted and framed with molding. There are also multiple hooks and attachments that fit in the pegboard allowing flexibility in placement of items used.
Great gift for someone who loves being organized or loves to make gift wrapping a work of art!
