Wedding Gift for Kristan Downs

Congratulations Kristan and Derrick!

Bridal showers and gifts have become more personalized in recent years and this cake carrier with the bride's new name was a favorite for Kristan Downs and a real crowd pleaser at our last church shower! Continuing the baking theme, we included a set of round Wilton cake pans and a few personal cake recipes for her to try...new brides can always use a recipe or two!

If you want to create your own, start with the bride's kitchen or favorite color and then consider a monogram or last name, design, dots, or some combination as we did here for Kristan. This would also make a perfect birthday or Christmas gift for the baker in your family!

If you would like me to create one for you, we have round and rectangle cake carriers by Wilton and you can contact me by email.

Silas

Isn't this elephant adorable?!!!! Expectant mom, Sarah Caldwell, selected crib bedding with an elephant theme and she LOVED the tub! We filled hers with diapers, baby wash and shampoo, and Desitin...necessities for a newborn...but wouldn't it be cute as a shower centerpiece!

Congratulations to Sarah and Kenny as they anticipate the birth of little Silas!

Anniversary Gift

This Subway Art was purchased as an anniversary gift for Phillip and Darlene Sanders of Columbus, MS by their daughter-in-law, Kit Sanders. Congratulations on 32 years together!

Anniversaries are special times. On Memorial Day, we celebrated our 30th anniversary with our family...the kids planned the entire day and wouldn't let us in the kitchen! In Mississippi, that translates into a lot of food including multiple desserts and sitting around the table for hours just visiting or sharing a game of dominoes.

Both of our parents, pictured here, have been married over 50 years! It's a wonderful legacy for our children to celebrate that kind of commitment and we honor our parents for the strong family values they mentored for us. God continues to bless them with good health and a good sense of humor. My dad wrote in our anniversary card, "Hang in there. It gets better." Always the comedian!

Baby Theme Subway Art

"I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him." 1 Samuel 1:27
Isn't this the perfect thought for a baby or child's room? God places in our arms tremendous joy and responsibility with the birth of a child. Our daughter and son are now married so we pray and wait patiently for grandchildren!

Create your own art or contact me if you want to purchase one for a gift. They can be personalized with the baby's name and birth date with your choice of vinyl color. This white floating frame is 11X14.
